Let’s just call today “rock bottom” and end the suspense.
Recovery Coaching
Think of it like a personal trainer who can relate to what you are experiencing, push you when necessary and help navigate the mental and emotional obstacles that inevitably occur. Together we will develop a workable program designed specifically for your needs and stated goals. Accountability and honesty are key to a successful outcome, and I will hold you to your commitment to change. My pledge is “Whatever it takes” and I expect the same in return.
Interventions
My personal experience is invaluable in reaching those struggling and motivating them to seek help. I prefer the “invitational intervention”, whereby the subject has agreed to meet to discuss their situation and look into possible measures. In cases where the individual is resistant to change, non-communicative or in dangerous circumstances, I will work with family, employers and friends to devise a plan to approach and extract if necessary.
Many times people have agreed to accept help over a cup of coffee. If you’re thinking you might have a problem, or just have some questions, let’s get together for a chat and ask away.

Note: I do not advocate for nor discriminate against any particular program or plan. Whatever your goals are and however you seek to achieve them is entirely your choice. My philosophy is simply this: Whatever program works for you - work it. Every single day, without fail, regardless of the circumstances.

Consultation/Assessment
The first step is developing an accurate profile and understanding of one’s personality and circumstances to determine the most effective approach to acknowledging the problem and accepting help; establishing primary motivators and potential obstacles to increase the probability of success. Treatment options including, medically supervised detox, inpatient (residential) and outpatient programs and/or recovery coaching will all be considered depending on level of need, financial limitations and the individual’s preferences.
Once you know you have a problem, the only shame is not doing anything about it.
